Tir Teg is a forming eco village group for those interested in creating a low impact development, inspired by Lammas, based in Pembrokeshire.  We have close links with Lammas and are largely replicating the Lammas 'model'.

 

We expect to settle somewhere in Wales, and aspire to become a sharing community of neighbours living lightly on the land.

 

The group has a fairly diverse mix of age ranges and experience. 

 

We are at differing stages of preparation, but we expect to be in a position to look for suitable land in 2012. Typically each family is expecting to require 5-10 acres of land, and we will be applying for planning permission under the Welsh Assembly  - One Planet Development rules.

 

The group organises itself online via the LID group as well as holding regular meetings and is actively seeking members who are willing to become committed financially and spiritually to making this a reality.
